what this quote means is that the devil is out there and if point fingers and people die that is not right. What this shows about the character is that he is wise. i chose this quote because this is low-key true.

The character that stood out to me was Abigail. what she did was that she was having an affair with Proctor and another guy. My predictions about this character is that she cannot be trusted. I chose this character because it shows the type of person someone can really be.

¨this is a hearing; you cannot clap me for contempt of a hearing.¨

this is important to the story because it shows that Giles is smart. what this says about Giles is that he knows the law. My interpretation of this quote is that you cannot kill Giles because this is just a hearing.

The character that stood out to me was Giles. What he did in the story is that he shows that he knows the law and he is no snitch. My prediction is that Giles will become a better person because of the mistake he did by mentioning his wife´s name. A trait that this character shows is that he does still have a heart because that´s why he will stay ¨mute.¨”I chose this character because he will not snitch even if it will cost him going to jail.

“It is a lie! they are all innocent!”

I chose this quote because it shows that Hale really feels sympathy for the people that are going to get hanged. What this says about the character is that he will come clean and he will say the truth. my interpretation of this quote is that he will say the truth so that he can save the people from getting hanged.

a character that stood out to me this week was Hale. what this character is doing is that he is trying to get the people that are getting hanged to confess and say that they are witches so that they would not get hanged. so they are basically still lying. my predictions of this character is that he will feel guilty, and will spill the beans. some traits that Hale revealed this week was sympathy. i chose this character because he is at least trying to do something good and help the people from getting hanged but he lowkey is still a snake.
